Here at Bug-a-boos, we make only the highest quality, hand-crafted hair accessories. All of our ribbons are heat sealed on all cut ends for integrity. All our bows and clips are sewn, where possible, for strength, and glued for stability.
Our preferred base for all hair clips is our signature ribbon-wrapped snap hair clip. Not only is the clip beautifully matched to each creation, but the wrapped clip is more durable and less likely to fall apart with time. We also offer the classic ribbon covered French and alligator clips for certain larger creations and for those who simply prefer these bases.
For the younger princesses, we offer a variety of stretch lace headbands (for a low price) that are designed to accommodate any of the hair clips we make. That way you can have one headband that can be transformed to an endless variety of styles, simply by removing one clip and replacing with another. And when your princess grows out of headbands, she can still wear all your favorite pieces in the traditional hair clip fashion.
Because all our creations are hand-made at Bug-a-boos, we are able to be flexible for your personal needs. For a small up charge all of our pieces can be custom designed or made-to-match your daughter's outfits. Whether you're sewing Easter dresses or preparing for an upcoming wedding; with a swatch of fabric, we can create you a custom hairpiece that will match fantastically. (please allow extra time for made-to-match orders)
For those who are economically and creatively inclined, we offer the do-it-yourself kit version of many of our creations. Since the majority of the cost of one of our creations is the labor (and we still don't make minimum wage doing this), we've created a way for you to capture some of that savings by doing the labor yourself. All you need is a glue gun (and needle & thread if you desire to sew it). All kits include everything you need to create one of our pieces yourself at a reduced cost, including ribbon cut to size and heat sealed, the hardware, and step by step instructions on assembling your piece.
Our Satisfaction Guarantee: We take pride in our work at Bug-a-boos. If your creation falls apart due to product defect, just return the piece and we will happily repair or replace at no cost to you.
